According to Vidya Bharti’s Sankul Samvad newsletter, the Devgiri Region acharya training camp was held from 3 to 13 May 2023 at Pratap College, Amalner, Jalgaon.
236 acharyas took part, including those in Shishu Vatika and Vedic mathematics, along with 6 in music, 5 in yoga and 9 in girls’ education.
The report records guidance from All India secretary Smt. Madhushree Sao, All India Vedic mathematics chair Shri Devendra Deshmukh, kshetra secretary Shri Sheshadri Dange, organising secretary Shri Shailesh Joshi, regional president Shri Vivek Katdare and regional secretary Shri Prakash Potdar.
Holding the camp in Amalner brought teachers from both Marathwada and Khandesh together — a practical expression of the region’s geography.
