Jalgaon
Hosted the 2023 Devgiri acharya training camp at Pratap College, Amalner.
The Devgiri Region brings eight districts of Marathwada and three of Khandesh under one educational vision. Its name is taken from the historic Devgiri fort.
Devgiri fort stands in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. Since the Yadava centuries this land has been on the map of learning and power. Vidya Bharti gave the region this name so that the work would remember the soil.
It is one of four organisational regions in Maharashtra, beside West Maharashtra, Konkan and Vidarbha. Devgiri means Marathwada plus Khandesh — the Aurangabad revenue division together with Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar.
